This career trek takes a small group of Iowa engineering students to Schneider Electric's Cedar Rapids facility for a tour, company overview, and Q&A with Schneider's recruiting team and Iowa alumni on staff. If you're interested in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering roles in manufacturing, product testing, or product development, this is a direct look at what that work looks like day to day.
Schneider has hired Iowa engineering students for internships and co-ops in the past, including electrical engineering co-op roles based in Cedar Rapids, so this is also a chance to build a relationship before those postings open. Get an inside look at the company before you ever submit an application.
